Atrium Assisted Living and Assisted Living Memory Care Visitation Policy

 The guidelines laid out in this policy are based on the guidelines provided by the Ohio Assisted Living Association. These policies and procedures have been made to keep you and all of the residents and staff as safe as possible.  Thank you for your understanding. 

Visitation Policy Guidelines

Indoor visitation policy- Updated September 2021

* Visitor are to enter, temp. check and sign in at entrance D5.

*   All visitors must  fill out completely the contact and screening information for each visit.

*  Visits may be held in the resident’s room, patio area, or other socially distanced areas.

Visitors are asked to not linger near or around other residents in the facility.

    No more than 4 visitors per visit and only one visit per resident each day (with the exception of compassion care visitation).

    All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a properly fitting surgical/procedural style or N95 mask at all times.

    Residents must wear a properly fitting surgical/procedural style mask if any of their visitors are unvaccinated.

      Visitors are encouraged to keep their visits to 1 hour or less.

      Visits should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

      Visits must be scheduled by phone or email Monday-Friday from 9a.m. until 5p.m.

      Visitation will not be scheduled during resident meal times.

      Local hospital capacity, local community covid-19 cases, facility staffing levels, and covid-

19 status within the facility can cause visitation to be suspended immediately.

      Visitors are strongly encouraged to get tested prior to visitation.

      Visitors are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated prior to visitation.

    Residents who are on transmission-based precautions for COVID-19 will not be permitted to do indoor visitation.

    No food or drinks are permitted to be consumed by visitors or residents visiting with unvaccinated visitors- due to mask policy.

      If you are not feeling well for any reason, please do not visit.

    Failure to comply with visitation policy, including the proper use of masks, will result in suspension or termination of your visitation privileges.
